Canada Day at the Park

The annual Canada Day Party in the Park saw approximately 2000 people come by Castle Downs Park on Canada Day.  We had a great time with the free food and activities including: cotton candy, popcorn, cake, ice cream, bouncing in the Jumpy Things, getting tattoos, face painting, balloon creations and playing carnival games.  Thank you to the Lorelei-Beaumaris board members who supervised the Palm House bouncer.  A big thanks to Castle Downs Recreation Society for organizing this event with the help of all the Castle Downs communities (Baturyn, Caernarvon, Carlisle, Cumberland/Oxford, Dunluce, & Lorelei-Beaumaris), Brent Rathbeger MP, Thomas Lukaszuk MLA, the City of Edmonton, YMCA, and the Seahawks.  If you missed it this year make sure you mark it in your calendar for next year!
